even in m(y) young age, i have a feeling that i am moving towards becoming somewhat ruthless with respect to literature & ideas: what is of use, use. what isn’t, discard.

in general i think-feel this to be a helpful tendency, although i am and should probably continue to be weary of m(y) capacities to judge ‘correctly’ in some instances.
